The Isle of Arran is a must for any cyclist wanting to experience the best cycling available. Its a tough old route with plenty of climbs, plenty of fast down hills and plenty of undulating miles inbetween. The Isle of Arran is a very scenic ride with spectacular views in all directions. Starting in Brodick there are several options, clockwise, anti - clockwise or in this case the figure of 8 route taking in the string road, a good climb regardless of the direction. There are plenty of great cafes and tourist stops along the way but please avoid the Arran distillery tour and if you do stop there ...... ride responsibly! Make sure to be back in time for the ferry! There are many a cyclist who have been caught out though their are worse places to spend the evening! Enjoy this one and if you are passing through Troon pop in to let us know how you got on!
